PMN has successfully deployed private 2G GSM and 3G UMTS networks worldwide providing compact, rapidly deployable cellular communications. Solutions have been deployed for tactical, public safety and emergency response, homeland security, defence applications and training systems.

PMN deploy 2G GSM and 3G UMTS solutions from one AP (access point) to multiple APs, and in many instances upgrading existing PMN 2G GSM infrastructures with 3G UMTS capability. This allows handover between the 2G GSM and 3G UMTS RANs.

Commercial Solutions

Within most organisations, a Private Mobile Network helps reduce call costs, as well as support and maintenance costs, by routing calls across a consolidated pico cell based private network while in the building/site area.

When a PMN-enabled employee walks into the Private Mobile Network range, their mobile phone becomes an extension of the Mobile Exchange or company PBX: TDM or IP. This is a simple, secure process; no complicated login is needed and only registered mobile phones can access the private network. Once registered, all the functionality of IP Telephony can be employed on these devices. There is no need to invest further in wireless IP, upgrade LAN capacity or source new wireless IP handsets and PDAs to enable mobility on the network.
