Private Mobile Networks enable the deployment of GSM networks into remote regions or isolated user communities where network integration and infrastructure costs would otherwise be prohibitive.

This is particularly suited to mining, shipping and tactical deployment situations, enabling a standard mobile phone to be used in environments where limited or no coverage would normally render it useless.

• Calls between personnel at the location are managed locally without additional authorisation being needed.
• Calls to PSTN and mobile networks can be linked by satellite backhaul.
• Ability to direct calls over least cost routes in the network.
• Both PSTN and mobile network access can be provided.
