Mobile in Emergency Situations
Secure, Private Mobile Network Regardless of Macro Network Conditions.
In an emergency situation, a key consideration is to control and contain the scene. Key to this is an effective communications strategy with an emphasis on field personnel. The ability to remain in contact with your colleagues and operational centres could be the difference between a controlled situation and one which would be potentially hazardous for both operatives and the general public.

A standard method of communication would be to utilise the macro mobile networks. However, it has been the case that macro networks have been closed down to remove the risk of cellular control of remote devices. It may also, be the case that the incident site is poorly covered by the existing macro network. In situations that are in densely populated areas the sheer volume of cellular traffic at the scene can cause network congestion which severely restricts communication for personnel managing the incident.
The Private Mobile Network overcomes these obstacles by generating its own secure, 2G GSM, 3G UMTS or 4G LTE private network regardless of macro network conditions delete and replace with coverage. This allows users to have access to voice and DATA services wherever the Private Mobile Network is set up. Backhaul options such as satellite or broadband can be used to connect the private network to the outside world.
The system is easily integrated into a local PBX for calls to operational desk phones and local DATA breakout for access to on scene information. For example Live Video Streaming of the incident to allow clear decisions to be made.
